Zero-fee ethical recruitment policy
IFM’s stated policy is not to charge recruitment or placement fees to seafarers. Our direct recruitment model removes multi-layered broker chains and hidden IFM agency deductions. This policy is guided by the Maritime Labour Convention, 2006 (MLC 2006).
Do not pay a person claiming to collect an IFM recruitment or placement fee. Verify any such request directly with IFM at capt.aunghtetkyaw.uk@gmail.com or +95 979 168 7897. Requirements or costs imposed by other parties should be checked with IFM before any commitment.
Qualifications and placement
All applicants must provide genuine qualifications and accurate sea-service information. IFM’s assessment and performance-based tier framework do not guarantee placement, salary, vessel assignment or employment. Final joining is subject to verified documentation, medical and flag-state requirements, the relevant vessel’s needs and client approval.
Standards and accreditation references
This website references the ISM Code, ISPS Code, MLC 2006 and ISO 9001 as operating standards or quality-framework references. These references do not constitute independently verified IFM certification or licensing claims. Ask IFM for current supporting documents before relying on any specific licensing, accreditation or compliance requirement.
Marine travel and visa assistance
Ticket availability, fares, schedules and carrier conditions are controlled by the applicable airlines and providers. Visa assistance and consular liaison do not guarantee a visa, transit eligibility, OK to Board clearance or permission to enter a country. Decisions remain with the relevant authorities and carriers.
Website information and service agreements
Website information introduces IFM’s proposed and stated service approach. Fleet statistics, port coverage, director appointments and certifications are not invented or presented as verified achievements. Service scope, pricing, responsibilities and operational arrangements must be agreed directly with IFM in the applicable written agreement.
Company imagery is illustrative and does not identify IFM-owned vessels or specific employees. References to support and training partners reflect the supplied company proposal and do not independently verify every current commercial arrangement.
